song lyrics and analysis
I see you in the crowd you gave a smile
I got this vibe that tingled from inside
I walked on over and sat right next to you
I slowly moved closer and closer to you
Girl what is your name, and where are you from
Just got a good vibe, and want you to know
I love your deep eyes, your smile just the way you are.
Girl what is your name, and where are you from
Just got a good vibe, and want you to know
I love your deep eyes, your smile just the way you are.
What do I do
Just knew i had to have you for my own
Went home that night and called her on the phone
We talked till dawn and had some laughs if you know
Ill always be around and here to stay
Girl what is your name, and where are you from
Just got a good vibe, and want you to know
I love your deep eyes, your smile just the way you are.
Girl what is your name, and where are you from
Just got a good vibe, and want you to know
I love your deep eyes, your smile just the way you are.
Uke playing
What do I do
Girl what is your name, and where are you from
Just got a good vibe, and want you to know
I love your deep eyes, your smile just the way you are.
Girl what is your name, and where are you from
Just got a good vibe, and want you to know
I love your deep eyes, your smile just the way you are.
I'll staaaaaaaaaaay with you
I'll staaaaaaaaaaay with you.
For my song I decided not to make my own song beat I chose to use a songs beat. The songs beat I used was "what do I do" by koa`uka. My song is about a guy seeing a girl and getting to know her and eventually fallin gin love with her.
The first four lines talks about how he is at a party and he sees a girl and they smile at each other. He gets the butterflies then finally works up the courage to go and sit down next to her and try to make a move on her. The chorus is about him thinking about her and showing his feelings for her. The next verse is explains how he gets to know the girl. The rest of the song is the chorus and I decided not to have a bridge for my song because the original song has no bridge but a solo by an ukulele player.

Sonnet Analysis
In my sonnet, "Special Girl, Just For You" I wanted to write about something that guys and girls would do or feel in the same situation. My sonnet was a bit unclear and was jumpy, but some lines you may not have understood were "just like you are my chicken and curry" and "you wont need to worry about your heart". Just like you are my chicken and curry can mean two things depending on how the reader interprets it. It could mean that you are my compliment like peanut butter and jelly. The other way to interpret it is that you were meant for me cause we match or have a good vibe like chicken and curry go together and taste good. You wont need to worry about your heart is meant to say that you don’t need to worry about me hurting your feelings.
When I was writing my sonnet I wasn’t really thinking of a particular girl. I was just thinking about what I would do when I found that special girl. If you have strong feelings for a person everybody would want to treat their lover right. I tried to make the poem sound as if it's really romantic and seem as if the reader would do these things too.

sonnet
One plus one equals two its just simple.
But its cool ill wait for you don’t worry.
I always love to see that big dimple.
Just like you are my chicken and curry.
We'll stay together till death due us part.
I'll always remember that special date.
You won't need to worry about your heart.
I guess I met you because it's my fate.
We can have a great time at the nice beach.
Never leave your side ill be there to stay.
I can be the perfect guy you won't need to teach.
Together we can watch stars and just lay.
This is how I see you and feel for you.
All you have to do is say yes and smile.
But its cool ill wait for you don’t worry.
I always love to see that big dimple.
Just like you are my chicken and curry.
We'll stay together till death due us part.

Paper #2
Bi – Sexual?
“It was getting late I guess, but it was only twelve. I was heading back to the hotel when I passed by this funny looking place, night club probably. It had bright lights that were odd colors and said “citoxe” it didn’t really make sense to me but after looking at it for some time I realized it spelt exotic backwards. If it spells exotic backwards as its name it’s worth a try, plus the night wasn’t going to bring anything else fun.
I walked inside the nightclub and looked around. It was a little dark. On my left was a bar, on my right were some chairs and a table and down the hall I could see some glass. So I walked down the hall and found there were girls inside the glass dancing on poles. I went down the line till the last box and found it was a guy. I looked around and put money into the slot and he looked at me and started to dance.
I felt kind of weird doing this especially since it was a guy. I was the youngest guy there, well look wise because there were some pretty old guys. You would expect to see these guys at home eating dinner with their wife or something. But yeah anyways I kept watching this man dance around the brass pole. It intrigued me it really did what was his reason for being here? Well I was getting a kick out of it just watching him. But after watching him for ten minutes or so I started to feel sexual. I got scared so I got up and walked out of the night club and sat on the curbside. What was I doing? It was bad enough paying the man and watching him dance, but to get aroused by him? Am I gay or bi or something?
Jeeze, I really need a drink after this. I walked down the street and went into a little food store and bought a 6 pack of beers that I thought I would bring back to the hotel and drink. Instead I just decided to sit out on the curb and drink, I mean who was gonna tell me not to? I'd look like a casual sense there were homeless people doing it. A man sat down and asked "may I join you for a drink?" I replied "not at all" and handed him a beer. We introduced ourselves and I found out he was a 27-year old guy and had just lost his job. We kept blabbering along and I found out that we had a lot in common. After a couple hours we decided to leave and I said good-bye and walked away. I felt like I had made a new friend and I felt warm inside knowing that that man was a lot like me and we had a lot of things in common. But I felt weird because I thought I heard him say he had lost his job because of being gay. But I really couldn’t remember I was too drunk."
Why does Holden always plan to have sex with a girl but never sees it through? Do you think that Holden could actually be Bi – Sexual and is confused about what is right for him? For my paper I decided to write a missing scene from The Catcher In The Rye. This section was about how Holden is about to go back to the hotel but decides to visit another nightclub. He then goes inside and sees a male pole dancer and instead of watching the women pole dancers he watches the man. Then I’ll show how he is intrigued by this man and then catches himself watching a man and realizing that he could be bi. He also decides to buy a pack of beer and drink it and then a man joins him and they connect great.
Is the idea of Holden being bi – sexual too far fetched? In my opinion I think it’s a reasonable hypothesis and there are some instances that could help support my theory. Some evidence that would help is that he always plans to have sex but never does. He either makes up a reason why he can’t or he just doesn’t feel like doing it. If he’s always complaining about not doing but does do it when he has the chance then what’s wrong with him? I think he was confused with himself on his sexuality and was thinking about a guy while he was thinking about sex.

Advice That Changes
When you live your life and make decisions do you think about something before you start it? Like a value you follow or a saying you like to use? I personally live my life and make my decisions based off of an experience I had. I'll tell you what I run my life on but it wont be that long. Besides, I'm not going to tell you my whole goddamn autobiography or anything.
When I was ten and going into my second year of football I was looked upon as a returnee. Since all the older guys moved up from our division the returnees were now the new starters, if they earned it. My first year I played I was a practice dummy and I was put into the MPR group. The MRP group is a when the players needed to play in the game for at least four plays. The thought of getting my first chance to start was exciting and I looked forward to when football started again.
My first year I hadn't really been taught how to play football I was just a practice dummy. But this year they made us try out for different positions. I tried out for running back, receiver, quarterback and safety. After the coaches chose me to play quarterback and cornerback. I couldn’t really throw that far so I was a running quarterback. Most of my and I teammates were the same size that year so corner was a good position for me cause I would be as big as the receivers.
One day my coaches were making the other quarterback practice throwing and they asked me to practice too. Being immature and stubborn at the time I asked why. It was like lighting a match under their feet! They started to yell at me and ask me questions like "Do you know how to throw like a pro now?" And "Since when were you too good to practice?" I was speechless and all I could do was go over there and practice. I said.
"Sorry Coach Keli`i"
"Chad your not a bad guy you know, its just you got to try more and not make excuses. In life your going to try new things and when you do you have to give a hundred percent. That’s the only way you'll be successful in life."
"Yes Coach"
This practice was one of the two practices I remember from the years of playing at Manoa. Ever since that practice I always try to give my best efforts in whatever I do. I really take sports seriously so I always give my best efforts in sports and I try to give my best efforts in school.
